Liquid Sky d-vices - WTF?!

​when the liquid sky crew decided to launch their own instrument label a few years ago,
it was clear from the start: we'll do everything but eurorack!

the advertising campaign was also clear:
the coolest things in the world take place outside of "eurorack":
granny gertrude, pitbulls, harley davidson, jackie dee and liquid sky d-vices.

​and what else can you expect from a dada based artistcollective than this: of course our first hardware releases on "liquid sky d-vices" are nothing else than eurorack modules!
things always turn out differently than planned.

so anyway:
we hastily set up our "liquid sky d-vices" lab in the southern portuguese in-scene town of santana da serra, within a catjump distance to both the bar and the cemetery (you never know), and started to develop for us (yes) and for you (yes!) crazy experimental unusual instruments that are lovingly handcrafted either in riga or in germany.

first of all we start with the "liquid sky ufo" series, synthesizer modules with a modern trippy graphic layout by thilo goldschmitz, which are especially suitable for sound designers, experimental musicians, film composers, ambient producers as well as techno artists.

​yes - we can hear them already: the cries of "rackspace is expensive!" - but dear synth phrrrreakz: if you want to work professionally, and you happen to  have thick (fat) fingers  and / or even phater silver rings on your fingers (yes. there really are such people in the music scene!)  

or just want to operate your instruments comfortably and unerringly then a certain distance between knobs and plug-in fields must be guaranteed.
in other words: the designs of the ufo series are generous and comfortable.

last but not least it should be mentioned that with every new module and with every new instrument we release under liquid sky d-vices we not only add a highlight to your and our equipment adventure park but also purchase 5 sqm of land for our non-commercial reforestation project at and around monte de salvada, santana da serra, south portugal, and plant at least 1 oak tree at least  five years old, and maintain it for the next years until it can survive on its own.

the liquid sky reforestation project is not a greenwashing or alibi story but is seen and treated by our team as an absolutely elementary part of all our artistic and business actions.

through our activities, over 20,000 trees will be planted in southern portugal in 2022 alone.
​and over 10.000 were planted the last 2 years.
